It's been one hell of a last 6 months. We've shipped Intercompany, "View in Xero" buttons, and a company dashboard just to name a few. The team is currently heads-down on an exciting "Automatic Recs" project — and there's a partnership announcement coming soon that we're really looking forward to sharing.
Intercompany Matching
The headline feature of this update is Intercompany. You can now detect and link related transactions across multiple entities and clear them directly within RecHound. Matched accounts are removed from your reconciliation summary automatically, and a dedicated Intercompany tab lets you view workpapers and surface any balance discrepancies between entities.
If you manage multiple entities, this one is going to save you a serious amount of time every month.
View in Xero
We've added a View in Xero column to transaction listings. One click and you're taken directly to the source transaction in Xero — no more hunting through reports to find what you're looking at.
Partnership Spotlight
We're collaborating with Kelly Berger from Bookkeepers Support on a Balancing the Balance Sheet workshop aimed at bookkeeping practices still working out of spreadsheets. More details coming soon.
Coming Soon: Prepayment Schedules
We're deep into building Prepayment Schedules — automated transaction allocation across multiple months with journal generation built in. This one is going to be a big deal for anyone managing prepayments manually today.
