Welcome to the first RecHound update. If you're here, you're one of the early supporters — and we genuinely appreciate it. We've been building for about four months now and the foundation is taking shape.
What we're building
RecHound is a dedicated platform for balance sheet reconciliations. The initial launch will cover core reconciliation functionality and balance sheet management — the things that make month-end either manageable or miserable, depending on your current setup.
Future features we're already thinking about: automated journal posting, algorithmic reconciliation, loan schedules, and intercompany account reconciliation. These won't all be in v1, but they're all on the roadmap.
How we get there
Three phases:
- Alpha Testing — A small group of 2-3 testers identifying bugs and giving early design feedback.
- Beta Testing — Up to 25 community members on the full platform. Early participants will receive future pricing discounts as a thank-you.
- Xero App Store — Certification and listing so RecHound is available to the full Xero ecosystem.
