Frequently asked questions
Can I post one journal for several transactions at once?
Yes. Once you've selected more than one transaction, post everything as a single summary line, or keep each transaction as its own line if you need the detail — the choice is yours.
Can I set tracking categories when I post?
Yes — every tracking category you use in Xero (Department, Location, etc.) is available right in the posting screen, so your journals line up with the rest of your ledger.
What happens after I post?
You're guided straight into reconciling. RecHound syncs the posted journal back and, on a Transaction Listing, pre-selects the new line for you to reconcile on the spot.
